Правовая доктрина, в соответствии с которой положения Билля о правах [Bill of Rights] стали обязательным для исполнения во всех штатах федеральным законом. Реализовывалась в решениях Верховного суда США [Supreme Court, U.S.] в 1925-69. Не относится к Второй [Second Amendment], Третьей [Third Amendment], Шестой [Sixth Amendment] и Десятой [Tenth Amendment] поправкам - остальные поправки включены (инкорпорированы) в Конституцию США [Constitution, U.S.]
